Columbus Medical Association Highlights EnergizeCare During Alzheimer's Awareness Month

We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Columbus Medical Association in a special Alzheimer's Awareness Month feature highlighting the mission and vision of EnergizeCare.

The article shares the personal journey of our founder, Dr. Kenneth Vitellas, whose experience caring for his wife, Lisa, inspired the creation of EnergizeCare. It highlights our commitment to providing meaningful respite for care partners while creating engaging, purposeful, and dignified experiences for individuals living with early-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

The CMA also recognized EnergizeCare as a growing community resource, emphasizing our dementia education programs, caregiver support, volunteer opportunities, and our upcoming opening of EnergizeCare Dublin | Lisa's Place in September 2026—one of the Midwest's first free-standing, non-medical respite and dementia engagement centers.

We are grateful to the Columbus Medical Association for helping bring greater awareness to the growing needs of families affected by dementia and for recognizing the importance of compassionate respite care, education, and hope.
