Uplift Her Columbus 2026: EnergizeCare Connects with Thousands Across Central Ohio
As a proud sponsor of the Uplift Her event in Columbus, Ohio, EnergizeCare had the privilege of connecting with thousands of attendees to increase awareness of Alzheimer's disease, dementia education, and the growing need for compassionate support for families throughout our community.
Representing EnergizeCare were Founder and President Dr. Kenneth Vitellas and Director of Operations Nicole Hannah, who spent the day meeting community members, sharing educational resources, answering questions, and introducing visitors to the mission and vision of EnergizeCare.
A major focus of the event was the introduction of Lisa's Place, EnergizeCare's first dedicated Adult Enrichment & Cognitive Engagement Center, opening this September in Dublin, Ohio. Attendees learned how Lisa's Place will provide engaging, purpose-driven experiences for individuals living with early-to-moderate dementia while offering meaningful respite and peace of mind for their care partners.
The event also provided an opportunity to share one of EnergizeCare's most important messages:
There is more to the person than the dementia.
It is possible to live well with dementia.
They may forget who you are, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
We are grateful to the organizers of Uplift Her for creating such an inspiring event and for allowing EnergizeCare to be part of this important community gathering. Every conversation helps reduce stigma, increase understanding, and remind families that they are not alone.
Together, we are building a community where every person living with dementia is seen, valued, and celebrated—not for what has been lost, but for the wonderful person who remains.
